Chris and Kim Reynolds thought they were getting a good deal.

After attending a Big World Vacations presentation last July, the Pegram couple paid nearly $1,250 to join the Nashville-based vacation club. They said they were told their membership could save them thousands of dollars on airline flights to China, where they were adopting their 3½-year-old daughter.

But the couple said the promised savings never materialized.

“It was pretty bogus,” Chris Reynolds said. “Huge restrictions, massive hoops you had to jump through to get a flight. It was a huge waste of time and money.”
